About Us

The Tulsa Sports Charities, Inc. was incorporated in 2005 as a 501(c) (3) non-profit charitable organization. The Mission Statement of Tulsa Sports Charities, Inc. (TSC) is to raise money for charities and scholarships, give it all away, have fun doing it!! No one is paid a salary, only volunteers work for TSC.

Incomes generated by TSC are primarily done through three events:

Legends in Sports Rivalry Dinner at the Tulsa Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center
Oklahoma Heisman Golf FORE! Kids Classic at the Cedar Ridge Country Club
Tulsa Sports Charities Poker Classic at the Cherokee Casino

TSC has raised over $250,000 for charities and scholarships during the past five years. In the first two years of incorporation, half of the money raised went to the Jim Thorpe Association in Oklahoma City. The past three years, all monies raised have been given to area charities and scholarships.

The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges
The Hutcherson YMCA
Special Olympics
Fellowship of Christian Athletes

TSC is proud to announce that $102,000 was raised in 2006 and nearly $100,000 was given to local charities and scholarships.

Tulsa Sports Charities, Inc. is currently working on endowments for the following scholarships:

Bill and Nita Connors Scholarship - Oklahoma State University
Dr. George Maurerman Scholarship - University of Tulsa
The Schusterman Family Scholarship - University of Oklahoma
Glen Smith Scholarship - Oral Roberts University

All income and expenses as well as financials and income tax reporting flow through Cross and Robinson Certified Public Accountants located at 4200 East Skelly Drive, Suite 560, Tulsa, OK 74135.
